Hyperspectral fluorescence images of mineral samples
have been acquired. Their spatial and spectral structure is analyzed
and the samples are classified. Mineral samples from the
same deposit may show large spectral differences, while samples
from different deposits can appear quite similar. These analyses
are a good start into the research of using mineral fluorescence
as sorting technique, but more effort has to be taken to come to
    satisfying classification results.
