Diese setzt grundlegende Verhaltensoptionen in einem hierarchischen Arbitrationsgraphen zusammen und sichert dabei die Stellgrößen mittels Verifikation und diversen Rückfallebenen ab. Die vorgestellte Methode führt zu einer transparenten und nachvollziehbaren Entscheidungsfindung und erzeugt auch bei hohen Ausfallraten ein sicheres und stabiles Fahrverhalten.
This work proposes a system architecture for secure and robust behavioral decision-making for automated vehicles. It assembles basic behavior blocks in a hierarchical arbitration graph and ensures safety through verification and diverse levels of fallback. In this work, the limits of current algorithms for odometry estimation for monocular vision systems are identified and extended. The method is based on bundle adjustment with which tracked feature points in a temporal image sequence are reconstructed and the motion of the camera is estimated. Using an aditional LIDAR sensor, depth information that corresponds to the visual feature points is extracted and integrated in the underlying optimization problem.

This works describes an approach to lane-precise localization on current digital maps. A particle filter fuses data from production vehicle sensors, such as GPS, radar, and camera.
